Yes, it's a long trip to Northern Maine, but it's worth it to expereince the great bird hunting our area still has to offer. It's not unusual to see 20+ grouse a day. There are miles and miles of old logging roads to ride or walk with the dogs.
Maine bird hunting is a great way to introduce kids to hunting since there's plenty of action to keep them interested. And if you miss one....that's OK, there's probably another one around the next bend!
